Malka Elah is an artist, designer and calligrapher whose work brings together fine craftsmanship, ancient tradition, and contemporary design with a magical twist.
Her practice is informed by a multidisciplinary background in museum studies, art history, graphic design, Kabbalah, and the ornamental arts. From an early age, Malka was captivated by the visual language of illuminated manuscripts, gold leaf, esoteric symbology and the simple beauty of nature. These lifelong fascinations developed into a practice centered on the relationship between language, symbolism and the elements.
Her work is particularly rooted in the history and artistry of Hebrew letter creation, drawing on centuries of Jewish scribal tradition and Kabbalist philosophy, all while approaching it through a distinctly contemporary and feminine aesthetic.
An original piece by Malka is a work of art designed to hold centuries of meaning and act as an heirloom invoking wonder and devotion for generations to come.

Art Experience: Malka Klein Design, is the Calligraphy & Art Atelier founded in 2020, now known as Malka Elah Atelier. Malka produces artisan pieces for luxury clients and events worldwide alongside Kabbalah inspired paintings, jewelry, workshops & retreats.
Interior & Event Design: Malka is the founder of La Casa de Malka, a community event space in Nosara, Costa Rica. Her largest canvas to date, ‘La Casa’ was remodeled in a distinctive jungle-glam aesthetic under her direction. Her flagship art studio lies within and creative events of all kinds take place on site.
Press: Malka’s Hebrew calligraphy artwork has been exhibited in Jaffa, Israel and featured in printed publications across the US & UK, such as In Her Studio Magazine and Brides.
Teaching Experience: Malka has taught thousands of students from tech executives at Facebook to aspiring artists in her studio and on international retreats. She offers private as well as group art lessons both online and in person.
